What is the False Light?

Why is it important to understand what the False Light is?

The purpose of this blog post is to help you understand what False Light teachings are, where the term comes from and how you can spot False Light teachings in your own spiritual studies. This is not to scare, criticise or judge; it is to educate. To help you discern for yourself if a teaching is from the Light, (i.e. the True Light of Source Consciousness,) or the False Light.

Your internal technology is always available to you to feel resonance with Truth and to reject what is not. However, many people feel disconnected from or mistrusting of this internal technology. Whilst you are learning to reconnect to this internal source of wisdom, you might find this information helpful to navigate through the vast array of ‘spiritual’ teachings out there.

If I no longer resonate with certain teachings, does that mean they are False Light?

Before I get into the main part of this blog post, I want to openly state that it is completely normal to really resonate with certain teachings or teachers for a time on your spiritual journey and then to not resonate anymore. This does not automatically mean that it is False Light.

As your Soul goes through its evolutionary journey it will need different teachings at different times.

What are False Light Teachings?

False Light Teachings take a True Light Teaching and invert it. Inversion is the key quality of False Light Teachings. False Light Teachings look to divide, promote separation and speak to your ego, instead of your Soul. They do not enhance your Spiritual Sovereignty.

Let me highlight this with an example.

True Light Teaching: You have everything you need within you.

False Light Teaching: You need ‘X’ (i.e something outside of you) to evolve as a Soul.

This is not to say that you cannot benefit from Spiritual Teachings, Teachers and Methods. All of these are available to help you remember your divinity, better connect to your internal technology and embody more of your Soul.

However, there is a big difference in the energy of “I can help you” to “You need me.”

Ask yourself:

* Does this teaching (or teacher or information) empower me?

* Does it strengthen my sense of Spiritual Sovereignty? Or does it empower my ego?

* Does it move me towards oneness and an understanding of interconnectedness and inter being with all?

* Does it help me to remember and enhance my own divinity?

Traditionally, False Light Teachings were described as ‘Luciferic’. This was where the intellectual mind was active without the Soul. It was understood that embodying the stream of consciousness referred to as the Christ Consciousness would provide the illumination needed for the intellectual mind to receive Truth. This was the process the ancient Alchemists were referring to in respect of transforming base metals into Gold.

The connection between the False Light and the Lower Astral Plane

False Light Teachings are often received by people when they are connecting into Beings and Entities of the lower aspect of the Astral Plane (esoterically referred to as the Eight Sphere). There are fake versions of everything in the Lower Astral Plane-fake Jesus, fake versions of the Akashic Records, fake Archangels etc.

The purpose of the Astral Level of Initiation is to learn discernment. When you connect into the Astral Plane, you will experience Beings and Entities of both the evolutionary and devolutionary streams. As you explore the Astral Plane in its entirety (as you do in the Astral Level of Initiation) you are learning how to feel resonance and discern between the two.

If you are unsure as to whether or not the Beings and Entities you are connecting into are of the devolutionary od evolutionary stream, you may find this blog post helpful.

How to know if you are connecting to False Light Teachings

The common themes that you will with these False Light teachings are:

  • That you are part of a ‘special group’ who are here to save the world, or that you alone are here to save the world (aka the Messiah Complex).

This is untrue and is designed to speak to your ego, bolstering your own self-importance and enhancing separateness., Every single Soul has their own role to play in the evolution of consciousness. Every single Soul is an individualised fractal of Source Consciousness.

You can of course be part of an Archetypal group (such as Starseeds, Blueprinters and Lightworkers) and knowing this can absolutely help you to know and ultimately love yourself better. BUT that does not mean that being part of that group makes you better than anybody else.

  • That you alone have access to certain abilities or these Beings that nobody else has.

The human form is divine, and every individual has the same internal technology. Everybody has the right and the ability to develop that internal technology and connect to higher dimensional beings. It is true that some people may be further along the journey where they have developed these abilities further than others over many lifetimes. One of the most beautiful things about experiencing a life on planet Earth is the ability to interact with people on a huge spectrum of different levels of consciousness. But ultimately everybody has the same internal technology and is going through the same evolutionary process for their Soul, a journey which takes place over many different lifetimes.

Tips to help you navigate the False Light when you come across new information/teachings

Understand that it is completely normal to come across and connect to False Light Teachings. It is simply a part of the curriculum for learning discernment and resonance. It does not mean that you are a bad person or that you are not ‘spiritual enough.’ Recognise it and move on in a way that is full or grace and compassion for yourself. The ego loves nothing more than a stick to beat you with to tell you how useless you are, so don’t let it.

To move past this stage, here are some tips for going forward when you come across new information, teachers and teachings.

  1. Let the information received marinate. This internal technology is part of your Light Grid and you can feel it working through your body. When information is received in, rather than trusting it immediately, sit with it. Reflect upon it, take it into your meditation. If it is Truth it will feel expansive and unconditionally loving. It will work upon you. If it is False Light it will not feel right, it will feel contractive and more egoic. Eventually through the process of ‘marination’, it will fall away.

  2. Practice self-forgiveness if you find yourself slipping into the habit of berating yourself or giving up on your intuitive development.

  3. Question your beliefs. Reflect on ‘what beliefs am I attached to?’ and ‘which belief has now become so big that I am really invested in it?’ Focus on knowing more (through your spiritual practice) rather than consuming more. As you go through your spiritual journey you will realise that we are supposed to be able to hold different beliefs and different perspectives, take what we need from them, and move on. There are so many different perspectives and teachings on the spiritual journey that getting attached to one is going to inhibit your receptivity to anything else.

  4. Look at where you are giving your power away. Are you constantly seeking outside of yourself for answers and information? Do you override or ignore your internal technology? There is nothing wrong with learning and getting guidance from others along your journey, but it should never be at the expense of you listening to and strengthening your own internal guidance system.

In conclusion

We are so blessed to live in a time where we have access to so much information about spiritual development, practices and systems. Be mindful, however, of not only the amount of information that you are consuming, but also the quality of that information. Spend at least as much time (preferably much more) on your spiritual practice as you do consuming spiritual information, to ensure that you are developing and enhancing that internal technology so it can reject the False Light Teachings as and when you come across them.
